Double Chance
A bet covering 2 of the 3 possible outcomes (1X, 12, or X2). Less risky, lower odds.
Betting 1X means you win if the home team wins OR draws.
Draw No Bet

Backing Team A DNB: win if they win, refund on draw, lose if they lose.
Half Time / Full Time
HT/FTPredicting the result at both half time and full time.

Single Bet

A Trixie (3 selections) = 3 doubles + 1 treble = 4 bets total.
Treble
An accumulator with exactly 3 selections. All must win.

Odds
Decimal Odds
The odds format showing total return per unit staked. Odds × stake = total return.
Odds of 2.50 on SportPesa: a KSh1,000 bet returns KSh2,500 (KSh1,500 profit).
Fixed Odds
Odds locked in when you place the bet — they don't change even if the market moves.
You take 3.00 — even if odds drop to 2.20 before kickoff, you get paid at 3.00.
Margin
Juice / VigThe bookmaker's built-in profit on the odds. Lower margin = better odds for you.
A coin toss should be 2.00/2.00, but bookies offer 1.90/1.90 — the 5% gap is the margin.
Promotions
Free Bet
A bet placed with bonus funds. Usually only profit is returned, not the stake.
A KSh5,000 free bet at odds 3.00 returns KSh10,000 profit (not KSh15,000).
Rollover
